Aerodynamic Kite Design Analysis Matlab Script
Aerodynamic Kite Design Analysis Matlab Script
Purpose:
I alongside two interdisciplinary engineers at Olin designed and implemented a Matlab script that takes in the 2D geometry of a kite's design and from that outputs the optimal bridle point position, and subsequently the angle of attack of the kite, to minimize the torque applied on the kite's bridle point by any oncoming wind.
